Who is Delco CASA?
Our mission is to help abused and neglected children live well, achieve academic excellence, and experience the joys of childhood by providing them with trained volunteer advocates who speak for their best interests.

Our vision is a bright future for all children that includes a safe and stable home environment, consistent relationships with caring adults, and supportive child welfare, education, and health systems of care.
DID YOU KNOW THAT IN DELAWARE AND CHESTER COUNTIES, CHILDREN OF COLOR REPRESENT MORE THAN 50% OF THOSE IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, YET ONLY 9% OF CASA YOUTH ADVOCATES’ VOLUNTEERS ARE PEOPLE OF COLOR? WE ARE LOOKING FOR CASA VOLUNTEER ADVOCATES WHO LOOK LIKE, AND ARE ABLE TO RELATE TO THE YOUTH WE SERVE. ADVOCATES WHO UNDERSTAND ISSUES UNIQUE TO CHILDREN’S RACIAL AND ETHNIC IDENTITIES CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. WE DESPERATELY NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS OF COLOR!
